Dôme is Dôme since 1893, nested in a building built by Architect Jos. Bascourt. Executed in a neo-Flemish Renaissance, Baroque tinged style. A striking demonstration of eclectic style, preliminary of his work on the prestigious Cogels-Osylei.

Fifteen years ago, Sophie Verbeke and Julien Burlat, opened a restaurant in what was once the Café du Dôme, and turned one of the most striking buildings of Antwerp into a internationally acclaimed gastronomical venue. Mixing warm hospitality and well-crafted food in a cosy atmosphere.

Today, in the continuity of what Sophie and Julien have achieved, Evangeline and Frederic Chabbert have taking it over with their own personality but with same spirit in mind.

What to expect?

Dôme is more than our work, it's our home. And in the intimacy of our less than thirty seat rotunda that's how we try to welcome you – as a guest in our home we love, are proud and are eager for you to love, too. We want you to feel you are welcome, relaxed and most of all, happy.

THE TEAM

The Team

Evangeline, born in Philippines and raised in Hong Kong, have spend more than twenty years working in Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong. From lobby Lounge to Fine dining restaurant, where she learned and mastered the legendary Asian Hospitality.

Frederic, French born, has travelled around the world while working in number of Michelin star restaurants. From Le Louis XIV of Alain Ducasse in Monaco to The Dining Room in San -Francisco, to finally received his own two Michelin stars in 2010 in the Restaurant Petrus, situated on the 56th floor of the Shangri-La Hong Kong

From field to finish, employing classic traditions and techniques inherited from his past experience. Immaculate ingredients are simply prepared with thoughtful creativity.

During our lunch from Tuesday to Friday we serve a 3, 4 or 6 course menu.

Lunch on Saturday 4 or 6 courses.
We always serve 6 courses for dinner.
A la carte is also always possible.

Private Dining & Events

For events with six guests or more, we offer two private dining rooms.

Petit Salon

The Petit Salon seats as many as 12 guests. Cosy and intimate, guests of the Petit Salon enjoy a unique taloirmade testing menu, based on the freshest ingredients, designed by Frederic

Grand Salon

The Grand Salon accommodates up to 30 guests for seated events or 50 guests for standing receptions. The room, nested on the second floor of the building, overlooking the square oand offering its own terrace was designed to offer an elegant space reminiscent of a Parisian living room.

Main Dining room

We offer the possibility of exclusive use of the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Our terrace area offers the perfect location for your pre-event standing reception.
